At the end of the little locality Crostau in the Oberlausitz (Sachsen), about 60km from Dresden, lies this house built in 1926, with an extensive view of Porta Lusatia. The ground floor offers an apartment of around 60m² that was completely gutted at the end of 2015 and modernised extensively. The apartment is quietly situated on a little road leading out of the village, with occasional traffic only.
The garden of more than 800m² that borders a nature reserve directly offers peace and quiet. There is a private, furnished and quiet terrace with a table and chairs. You can also share use of the gas grill. There is a free bread rolls delivery service for breakfast (billed according to order). There is a car parking space on site. Your dog is allowed free of charge. The whole site is fully fenced and your pet can run around freely.
The light and inviting apartment has a living and dining room with a pull-out sofa bed for a maximum of 2 children, a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a wooden table that seats four people. Right next to it there is the open and modern built-in kitchen with an induction hob, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster and washing machine. The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed 160cm wide. The modern bathroom has a walk-in glass shower and a rain showerhead, as well as a toilet, a washbasin and a hairdryer. The whole apartment has heating. Free high-speed DSL Internet access is available in all rooms.
You can set off on hiking trips from the doorstep. There is a bakery 50 metres away, which has been baking according to old recipes since 1940. The surrounding region includes the minigolf park in Bautzen, the Löbau carting track where you can ride go-carts, Segway or quads, as well as the Oderwitz summer toboggan run and Germany’s largest maze “Kleinwelka”. It is recommended t go on a trip to the Bautzen old town. You can visit the town over 1000 years old with the Wasserkunst, the Friedensbrücke and the Ortenburg. Germany’s only cliff national park “Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz” is also worth a visit.
