Tornby Beach is impressive in all the seasons. People enjoy a swim in the refreshing North Sea on a bright summer day and just lean on the beach against salty wind on cooler days in autumn. You can find clean water to swim in this region. The protective troughs in extensive dunes and the high hills in Tornby dunes are under a nature reserve that offers an impressive, panoramic view. Numerous tourist destinations are located in this charming region. Hirtshal is a charming town that has a serene fishery and marina (with daily connections to Norway), a major fish market and nice options for shopping as well as dining are just 3 km away from here. You can also buy fresh fish from the boats. Passionate fishermen can take a boat and go on a fishing trip from Hirtshal, for example, you can fish in the yellow reef. Also visit Nordsomusset Aquarium in Hirtshal with its rich collection of aquatic life and a seal basin that provide an insight into the fascinating world of the North Sea.
