The green holiday spirit, surrounded by nature in the heart of an organic farm
On the first foothills of the Monts de Lacaune (Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park), Caroline and Nicolas have rehabilitated the hamlet of Salvanié by creating several gîtes, two swimming pools, but also several wooden agricultural buildings, a stable, etc.
La Salvanié is also an organic farm of 60 ha, with horses, donkeys, Gascon cows, black pigs, without forgetting the essential farmyard. Nathalie will be happy to offer you an educational tour of the farm!
You can taste and buy farm products (charcuterie) according to the seasons and your desires (for meat, make a reservation in advance).
Ideal for family vacations in summer and sunny days, by the pool, but also in autumn and winter, around the fireplace or exploring the surrounding forests. Here, any type of vacation is possible: active leisure (hiking accessible from the farm, mountain biking), relaxation or participation in farm life.

** THE GITE **
La Grande Maison is an independent gîte, while being in the heart of the farm, with a large garden, several terraces, a private swimming pool, a portico and a ping-pong table.
- Ground floor: large living room with lounge (fireplace and TV) and dining table. A fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, cooker with oven, kettle, Senseo® pod coffee maker, microwave, American refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. Still on the ground floor, a bedroom with 160cm bed and private bathroom. A separate toilet in the corridor.
- Upstairs, in total: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom/shower room, 1 toilet. The breakdown in detail:
- the first with a 160cm double bed and baby bed with bars
- the second with two 90cm single beds which can be brought together
- a bathroom with shower, bathtub, double sink and changing table
- third bedroom with 4 90cm single beds, including two bunk beds and private bathroom (shower and sink)
- independent toilet
- the last bedroom, a huge master suite with 180cm bed, two-seater spa bath, large shower, double sink, dressing room and private balcony.
Outside: several terraces, a covered shelter, a charcoal barbecue and the swing for children. The private swimming pool is a few meters from the gîte, in an enclosed space surrounded by horse fields. 10x5m swimming pool with progressive bottom of approximately 1 to 2 meters and steps. One building houses the ping-pong table and sink area with extra dining table.
Please note: the opening period of the swimming pool area with ping-pong table is from June to September, please note these dates may vary depending on the structure, please contact the reservation service. No wifi available in the gîte but connection possible at the reception desk. The 4G connection is good. Non-smoking cottage.
