Holiday house surrounded by greenery, with a private garden

This semi-detached holiday house surrounded by greenery in on a road with little traffic in the beautiful town of Diano d’Alba.

The other half of the house belongs to the same owner, but she does not live there when the other half is occupied.

The living space of around 110m² is on two floors. The ground floor has a kitchen-diner and a living room with a fireplace, a sofa and a TV. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and fridge with freezer compartment. The pantry provides some groceries for the first day (e.g. crisp bread, homemade jam, milk, tea, coffee, pasta, pureed tomatoes, olive oil, tuna fish, grissini). The first floor has a bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a bed for children up to four years old, a bedroom with a single bed (120 x 200cm) and a bathroom with a shower. A single bed (80 x 190 cm) for a fourth adult can be added to the living room. Wireless Internet access is available free of charge.

Not far from the house you can find grocery shops and a pharmacy. Alba is less than a ten-minute drive away and Barolo is about 15 minutes by car from the house. In the surrounding area you can find famous vineyards that produce Dolcetto and Barbera, as well as hazelnut groves, where the famous “Tonda Gentile” type is cultivated.

The outdoor area comprises a private park, where you can go on romantic walks. There is also a private, fenced meadow. There is a vegetable garden with fruit trees, which you are welcome to use. No pesticides or fungicides are used. Three car parking spaces are available. The house is fenced to the front (garden) and to the rear (vegetable garden) with a black iron fence. The park is partially surrounded by an iron fence and partly by plants and bushes.

    “Das Haus ist mit allem ausgerüstet, sogar der Kühlschrank ist gut gefüllt. Es ist sehr sauber und alles wird einem bei der Übergabe ausführlich erklärt. Da wir nicht genügend Italienisch konnten, half uns der Sohn der Besitzerin in Englisch.
    Alle paar Tage wurde Kontakt aufgenommen, ob auch wirklich alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir etwas brauchen. Wir haben noch nie eine Küche gesehen mit so viel Geschirr und Besteck, alles ist vorhanden. Selbst Wein und ein Prosecco zur Begrüßung.
    Auf dem Rasen vor dem Haus steht ein offener Zelt-Pavillon, den man für ein Frühstück am Morgen oder ein feines Abendessen bestens verwenden kann oder auch nur zum Verweilen. Liegestühle, Liegen etc. alles ist vorhanden. Angrenzend ist ein eigener Pinienwald, der frei zur Verfügung steht, unser Hund konnte sich dort austoben, es hat ihm sehr gefallen. Ein Flat-TV mit diversen deutsprachigen Programmen ist vorhanden (ebenso ein DVD-Player). Im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen Kamin und die Heizung funktioniert einwandfrei.”
