    “Das Haus liegt ruhig und unweit der Nordsee. Man kann das Meeresrauschen hören und die Nordsee entfernt sehen. Die angegebenen 300m sind hier allerdings als Luftlinie zu verstehen. Man erreicht das Meer über die Dünen durch einen "Trampelpfad" (nicht für Kinderwagen o.ä. geeignet) oder außen herum an der Straße entlang. Dann läuft man aber gerne 15 Minuten. Zwischen den Ferienhäusern laufen Rehe und Marder umher.

    Das gesamte Feriengebiet ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Es liegt sehr ruhig, der Strand ist bei jedem Wetter herrlich. Man fährt direkt auf den weißen Sandstrand zu, kann hier unentgetlich parken. Der Strand ist sehr sauber, gelegentlich reiten kleine Gruppen mit ihren Pferden entlang, von denen aber sofort Hinterlassenschaften entfernt werden. Auch Hunde sieht man oft am Strand.
    Ein kleines Geschäft (Tante-Emma-Laden) befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, ein Sparmarkt befindet sich in 3-4km Entfernung.
    Im Wasser befinden sich wenige Steine, kaum Quallen. Steine kann man aber sehr gut direkt vor den Dünen sammeln.”
